Question iPod Lineouts: Do They Vary from Generation to Generation?

I've been searching Head-Fi for this answer for awhile now, but can't find the specific answer I'm looking for.
Does anyone know if there are any differences in SQ between the different generations of the iPods? Specifically between the 4th and 5th generations?

Thanks in advance!

Merry Christmas!

At least there is difference between 5g and 6g, 6g should be "cleaner" inside. Don't know about 4g vs. 5g, but 4g is more easily diyModdable (DIY iMod), e.g. bigger spots to solder.

I have compared the last few generations extensively. I have quite good hearing, and suffer from no placebo. I cannot tell the difference between any of the models. They all sound totally neutral to me.
