That's exactly what we need. lol.
Oddly, I admit that I say terms such as "that's gay" and "f**", but I have nothing against gay people. I mean technically, the main definition for gay is happy, and fag was a term to describe a cigarette. So what's the deal?
People in this world think that because something is different from what they are accustomed to, that it's bad, and there has to be something to fix it. I find the situation of "gay marriage" in close similarities as "racism" was. People hated having to accept other races, but they got over it, and people started using their brains. Same thing for gay marriage, soon (hopefully) people will get over what THEY think is right and let people do whatever they please. The world would be so much better without so many dictators running around telling everyone what to do.

wow IMO people say it more in middle school. Nobody says "that's gay" in high school depending where it's at. It's kinda like the middle school version of "that's lame" from elementary school. The meaning is putting down homosexuals but usage of the word is nothing to do with actual gay people.

Rather then the define this topic, I'm more confused as to what homosexuals had anything to do with this thread in the first place.
|
just for clarity "it is what it is" was not a cop out. I meant imo it is " language" is..what it is... not something to be broken down and interpreted
the discussion is anything but child like but it's definitely childish. Even with the more literal meaning of childish, specifically children do the joking and offending regularly. Could you please clarify what you mean by the little higher standard thing?
to op, +1 for clip =]

This is one of the few threads I've read here recently that actually caused me to start laughing just because it's so absurd.

I feel like Milton in Office Space waiting for a piece of cake at Lumberg's birthday party and not getting one. When I turned 21 they ran out of pieces of the straightness cake. And to top it off, the fairy fairy skipped on giving me any sense of fashion, interior design prowess, or most the other benefits of being gay.
Which leads me into something more related to what I think was one of the OP's questions. I'll concur with the suggestion to get something small and discrete like an iPod shuffle. A 2GB shuffle is pretty decently priced and holds quite a few songs. Just make sure you get silver. I have no idea why Steve Jobs or Jonathan Ives let Martha Stewart pick the color scheme for the shuffles. Pastel colors on electronic equipment are a match made in hell.

True that. I got my blue shuffle the day before the new ones came out, and after seeing those colors, I though, wtf? He could get red, too.
