Haha, true that. He said he knew who took it, so he might get it back.

As for advice, get the clip. Its better than an iPod by nearly every account I know and I wouldn't recommend anything with a fancy color screen that costs over $100.
As for the childish discussion,
While I am am a college student, I am also a middle school Technology teacher in my professional semester right now. I wouldn't let a student answer me a question using this language.
I can't stop it from being said, but I don't enjoy the forums and websites that can't be professional very often. At least one person joined head-fi just for this thread to comment on the "being gay" jokes. I prefer that head-fi does not develop a reputation for it. If I wanted that kind of forum, I would go back to visit the PSP forum sites.
It is definitely not good enough to say "it is what it is" for a cop out. The jokes have got to be on a little higher standard to make this anything but a childish thread.
Rather then the define this topic, I'm more confused as to what homosexuals had anything to do with this thread in the first place.

Nothing wrong with admitting that you're gay.
Don't quite understand how that relate to you iPod being stolen on the school bus though...

Well Thelonious put a sad face at the end, so, like most high school students that think being gay is the worst thing on earth, he probably thought it would be another bad thing to add.

A majority of Americans in general seem to think this. The major thing that makes it a problem seems to be this kind of reaction by others. The government and religion states it is. Their parents likely agree. There homosexual acquantences might not be courageous enough to talk about it. Fear-mongering is the only thing that makes this country seem part of a whole to me these days.
Sorry for the thread-jacking, I made my point.

"That's gay."
One of the most most common phrases I hear around the halls of high school, and even now down to middle schools it seems to be said.
From what I learned over the years, it's perfectly fine to say it, as long as a gay or lesbian person isn't around.
It's totally different when you hang around gay people and actually get to know them and their spirit. But since many people refuse to do so, or are afraid to do so, then I cannot decide whether the OP (I won't say his alias, because IMO he just shamed it horribly) is just really green with these issues, or just trying to be funny. Probably both.

He's not really gay. He was just joking, but now I bet he wishes he had never made that joke since so many people believed him lol

Now I'm really confused! Who yanked what, exactly? Did this have anything to do with your quasi confession in your opening post?

But you've got to admit, it has made for an entertaining thread. We even have activists joining in now. Gosh, people take this stuff too seriously.
