GREAT FIND-read my story:)
ive been here for just few months and all those time (including my pre-headfi years) ive been lookin for a great set-up to satisfy my ears... just a month after i joined head-fi, i got 3 full size headphones (all sen) and a headphone amp which i can say im quite satisfied (ipod+boa+eh350)...
last friday morning, when im cleaning all my stuff in my drawers i saw my old phones (mostly music phone)... i charge them all and use one each day... i remmber how great old NOKIA n91 before, even though i still dont have good gears to paired with it.... just this morning, i put some great tracks (It Wouldnt Have Made Any Difference by ALISSON KRAUSS, Hotel California by EAGLES, In My Dreams by CSNY, This Cant Be love by STACEY KENT, Fever by MICHAEL BUBLE) to test how is n91 paired with full size cans...
ill go straight Guys, n91 headphone-out bettered my current rig (ipod+boa)...
i cant believe how this vintage phone sounds soooooo good when paired with full size cans (415 and eh350)... Soundstage is really huge (even considerin eh350's average sounstage), and the bass elemnt is the best ive heard on any players ive tested with my eh350... max output is also louder than boa same @ full Blast... though im just using 32ohms HPs, i dont know if it can handle higher than 100ohms... i will try this with some AKG and BEYER tommrw... i know some of you will have in mind that im just another guy here talkin non-sence but guys, im new here and im still buildin my reputation thats why im very careful with my post here... if any of you can audition nokia n91, try one guys and im sure you will realize why ive started this thread
Sorry for my bad english

"...the changes in listening habits of music-lovers and the way in which they expericence sound. In spite of all purism and the highest demands on precise sound reproduction, a slight change in listening behaviour is detectable. Today many music-lovers want to feel the sound more instead of plainly analysing it...". Senn HD 650 Instruction Manual.

amp topology of n91 is more like COWON D2 which are more suitable with higher impedance headphones.... they sound tinny with 12-16ohms headphones, while very good @ 32 and above...
