Tried ABX several times. LAME is blurry, overcolored, losing some details and having instable imaging. Talking about 320kb/s of course. In the FhG it's just delicate politness and treble roll-off added to the original sound. LAME is easier to distinguish from original hands down.

ROFL... I'd love to see you do that in a blind test... and I mean see you do it, not just report that you can.

I choose the tracks and the equipment, you move your ass to my home and perform the test. In the meanwhile, wipe off some dust from your clothes as rolled on the floor. :P
