Expanium 503 at Good Guys

Today, when I took a trip to The Good Guys, I saw that they had the EXP503. Feature-wise, it's totally beaten by the Rio Volt SP250 -- except that it has AAC playback. However, has anyone heard how it sounds?

BTW they also carry the Philips mini-CD player too. The thing is not small enough for my tastes -- at that capacity, I'd rather go for MD.
