That looks soo tempting, but currently i dont need a battery so i dont know how long i would have to store it before installation. Plus we really dont know how old those replacments are. Hmmm i might jump on this if someone could convice this to me

Eh... if it's a HDD-based player, I wouldn't bother, as I would imagine the HDD would fail around the same time the battery would. Heck, my HDD is failing more quickly than my battery.

If you can wait, I would expect a better higher capacity battery for less money will be forthcoming. The battery you showed is a OEM replacement. The battery used in the 5.5 iPod should be out which has a much higher capacity.

I have a two years old 4th gen iPod that stays in my car. I also have a 4 year old 2nd gen iPod with a high capacity replacement battery. Both run great.

70% more capacity doesn't mean 70% longer battery life. It's a snafu.
