Differences between Sony S639F and S738F?
Besides the color? The 638 is cheaper, but why? What sets them apart from each other? And is one necessarily better than the other? Please help, I'm confused.

search... already mentioned few dozens time.
S630 and S730 are exactly identical except S730 has noise canceling function and come with NC earphone. Refer to manual, both have same manual.
S638/S738 = 8GB
S639/S739 = 16GB

I don't get the whole "integrated noise canceling" thing. Is it just the included IEM's, or something else?

I just realized the 639 is not on Sony's US site, even though the 638 is still there. Is the 639 not out yet or something?

again, "search"... lol
S638F is the maximum capacity available currently on Sony US. If you prefer 16GB, import it

Nice thread it helped me out.
I'm not sure why everyone is so anal about "search." This thread will be on of the threads in the search query, so telling someone to search will not help the person looking in this thread, making it even a more waste of time.
Not specifically this thread, but any thread. I searched on google and this thread showed up. Luckily there were actually some answers.

Count me in for the bandwagon. I've been considering a new player for a while now, and this one is perfect for my needs. Just waiting for advancedmp3 to confirm that I am unfortunately myself, and no one else would want to be me.
Not that I can even find the US versions over here, mind you, but the 16gb capacity certainly doesn't make me sorry for that.
