I have never gotten anything I ordered from Buy.com (well, I've only tried twice). Both times I was told "out of stock" and then put on the eternal backorder list. Good luck trying to cancel your order after that. Buy.com does not have the best reputation, reseller ratings is your friend (3.2/10).

I have read about some things never getting there like D2000's but everything I have ordered from them has always made it quickly, however, I have always ordered in stock items.

I guess it does say "In stock soon"

I ordered something, it was out of stock, ordered it again, it was in stock the next time.

90 day warranty, only. And reconditioned could still look used, sometimes.

Since it's OOS now anyway, you might get a better deal on eBay.

I'd go with it. If the hard drive fails, you can always use a compact flash card.

You'd have to be pretty lucky to find another 60GB 5th Gen iPod for $120.

I had the 30GB version, and it was great as long as I used an $80 LOD and an amp, not quite as happy with HP out. But this is a very nice price for 60GB.
