Under Settings, click on "Storage Info". The FW version is displayed on the top line of the Storage Info display.

I know everyone is waiting on firmware for the Amp3 Pro2 as well as the Studio One. Hopefully it won't be much longer. In the meantime I have to say, this Amp3 Pro2 is absolutely fantastic !!! Not in every way but where it counts.......the sound. The thing puts a smile on my face.

Yes, I'm a fan too. If I had those Zino's, I'd be happy too. Unfortunately, I have less efficient headphones, causing me to use my IEM's. I don't like IEM's. I want to use my ESW9's... and I do, but I'd just need the gain adjusted for those recordings that are mastered softer. I'm waiting for that update, and I'm all ears.

I use the ESW9s also and I hear you. Some music just doesn't have enough volume. I find it more frustrating with the ESW9s than with the Zinos. The ESW9s are better phones but the Zinos seem to match better with the Pro2.

(OK if we can't get the Pro2 firmware update can we have the Studio One please?....lol) People have been waiting for the HiFiMan801 in pretty much the same manner (that includes me) so I've become an expert on waiting.

I too have the AMP3 PRO2 and am very impressed with it. The company is very keen to keep improving the features and performance. I'm looking forward to trying the STUDIO 1 model very soon.

hello Callaghan, the company will fix for me for free if it's possible and i am paying the shipping. So, i am very happy with that arrangement and am not as annoyed at myself for breaking it!

i have seen no pics of the Studio, but i have asked for one the minute they drop. I want to try it with the Sennheiser HD650 which i'm getting at christmas...

I should have an update on the new software version since I'm waiting for a revision and on the Studio...

Hang tight.

Please I want to thank the Headfi community for making the recommended changes since I and hisoundaudio have collected this information and will be addresses issues based on this. Of course not everything is possible. In some cases a new model is needed, however without this community, we would have moved forward in small steps. This now allows up to jump further than expected!!

Thanks!
Craig

How does the battery fair in Amp3 Pro2? It claims 100hrs+ at volume level 8. I tried this out and seem to be getting about 35 hours if I'm lucky. Not a bad result but far of the claimed 100hrs.
