Amp3 Pro2 and the STUDIO

I'm very pleased to announce the newly updated Amp3 Pro2 and the newest model; STUDIO I.......

I do not have all of the details yet, however here is a teaser.

Amp3 Pro2

Some fixes include the startup time, battery issue....

Now onto the next release; STUDIO I

This takes it to the next level. This is designed to be used as a portable amp versus a DAP, However it will carry some of the features like:

*16GB MicroSD
*8GB onboard memory
*MUCH higher SQ than the Amp3 line. This is design to complete with the many home rigs.

What is be unique approach with this product in the sense that we, headfi'ers, will participate in help designing the next released model. So we can actual take part in providing feedback on how to improve on the STUDIO I and in turn, launch the STUDIO II.

There will be 3 headfi'ers that will receive the new amp/DAP and they will post their opinions. I encourage others to add their 2 cents as well. In addition, a few more will be available to purchase for $349. There will be LIMITED stock and I'm sure once the details on buying the STUDIO I are released, they will go quick. Also please understand this is not a prototype model. We are taking a different approach where myself and hisoundaudio will read everyone's opinions and then make the appropriate recommendations on what changes are needed for the STUDIO II. From what I hear, this could shake a few things up a bit.

Lots more details will be released on this product. This will also be available in 10-14 days. There will be no pre-orders, however if you are interested please let me know since they will go very quickly.

Plus there is a software release for those with the Amp3 Pro1. It will also include bug fixes as well.

I should by the beginning of next week when it will be available.

Also the manual is complete. I should have ready for download by the end of this week.

Holy smoke, if I didn't buy the AMP3, I wouldn't believe this! But I did and was amazed by it, wow is all I have to say!

Maybe now all those Hifiman addicts will sit up and take notice of a truly wonderful product rather than bleating on about something that few have even heard, $600 for a dream or $159 for reality, I know what I would choose but then I already have!!!

What is it the difference from the AMP3 which from what I read can also be used as an amp?

Or is Studio I the one that is developed based on head-fi opinions?

i think it means the amp section has been uprated and focused on as the key feature and the dap section is pretty much unchanged maybe!?

so good news for those who use it as amp or are after good/better amp performance

I have contacted with hisoundaudio for this question, You are right. Both AMP3 and Studio have the same function of DAP/ AMP. but AMP3 come with a relative less power amp. While the Studio is a "professional" amp. ( the reply email said so), it come with a basic DAP function.

The marketing manager tell me that it is worth to expect the STUDIO for it is "a mile" far better then AMP3.

its a totally different product. like comparing apples with oranges. just thought that should be mentioned.
