Thumbs up Steve Hoffman Room Gear Lineup

Through the generous efforts of Dan Muzquiz of Blackbird Audio and Bill Wolford of Billy Bags the Steve Hoffman presentation system is now complete. For those of you who have not been following this thread; once more the Can Jam dream gear is as follows:

One Galibier Serac paired with an Artisan Audio Tonearm and Dynavector 17D3 cartridge

the Manley Labs Steelhead Phono,

the Manley Labs Snapper monoblocks

all resting on a Billy Bags Pro 34 audio stand custom built for this Can Jam system

Von Schweikert Audio VR-5 Anniversary Speakers
http://www.vonschweikert.com/

Thanks again to Manley Laboratories, Von Schwiekert Audio, Billy Bags and Blackbird Audio for your generosity. With Steve Hoffman providing the musical content, you have absolutely no reason not to attend Can Jam.

Nice system. I wonder if they are going to use the Manley 300B preamp or run the Steelhead right to the Snappers?

I received the Serac from Thom at Galibier Thursday and have been amazed with it. I really think the CanJam attendees are going to be stunned at system Greg has put together.

Exclamation Please Fix My Links

I obviously don't know what I am doing. Can someone fix my links to the Manley, Galigier, Billy Bags and Von Schweikert Audio sites.

Manny thanks to the person who fixed my post.

Todd had first dibs on the Manley Labs 300B, and besides TTVJ rules so if you want to demo the Manley Labs 300B, you need to stop by Todd's room. I certainly intend to spend a lot of time there checking out the Manley 300B and Todd's Millet amp. Tube sweetness!

I agree completely! This should be a dynamite sounding system, and of course Steve does an amazing job with his talks! This presentation alone should be a huge draw for CanJam, even for audiophiles who aren't terribly interested in headphones. You guys have done a great job at putting this event together. I'm sure your attention to detail will be much appreciated at "show time".

I often asked myself: "Why do you keep buying more headphones?" Now I know the answer: "[E]ventually the ear needs a new electro mechanical stimulus." Thanks WarriorAnt. I needed that!

Let's hope so, otherwise I will have to whip out my accordion and do my rendition of fifty most popular polka tunes..........
