So...where will CanJam 2010 be?
Just wondering if there have been discussions on where CanJam 2010 will be? East Coast again?

There are rumors of Chicago, but nothing firm yet.
I'd love for it to be in Chicago, though. I haven't been for a few years and would love to go back.
And doesn't Route 66 run from LA to Chicago? Hmm... might be a good excuse to take a week off and make it into a road trip.

I'll be moving to the Washington, DC area and would be willing to help set up a meet there.

General criteria for hosting a CanJam meet is for a city and it's members having repeatedly hosting a large Head-Fi meet with 100+ attendees at a decent venue like a hotel or small convention center, and having several Vendors attending as well (including out of town vendors.)
So, want to have CanJam hosted in your city? Get cracking on getting big meets together on a regular basis. It's fun all around either way.

It seems like every year there are rumors of Chicago. I know I want to go if it ends up there next year. Though admittedly I will spent most of the time holed up in some hotel near the airport listening to headphones.

I'd love a Chicago CanJam! I'm originally from about 100 miles outside of Chicago and could bring some of my cronies along.
I think Vegas would be a great place for CanJam as well, but there really aren't many local members there to do the ground work.
I could see something like a NY - SF - Chicago - Vegas - LA type of rotation, and maybe Toronto as well. It needs to be major market areas to draw in the vendors and the crowd.

Chicago would be a great locale ... not that I'm selfish in wanting a location close to home or anything
