Ahhh yes, the dac actually sounded quite nice. I also remember that you had a nice selection of gear too. I am looking forward to spending more time listening and posting impressions.

I'd like to bring all my headphones, but unfortunately all my SONY earpads are flaking off insanely.. so I am just bringing xeroxes of the following journal articles:

G. Theile, "On the standardization of the frequency response of high-quality studio headphones," J. Audio Eng. Soc. 34, 956-969 (1986).

H. Møller, C. B. Jensen, D. Hammershøi and M. F. Sørensen, "Transfer characteristics of headphones measured on human ears," J. Audio Eng. Soc. 43(4), 203–217 (1995).

H. Møller, C. B. Jensen, D. Hammershøi and M. F. Sørensen, "Design criteria for headphones," J. Audio Eng. Soc. 43, 218-232 (1995).

H. Møller, C. B. Jensen, D. Hammershøi and M. F. Sørensen, "Head-related transfer functions of human subjects," J. Audio Eng. Soc. 43, 300-321 (1995).

D. Hammershøi and H. Møller, "Determination of Noise Emission from Sound Sources Close to the Ears," Acta Acustica, Vol.94 No.1 (January 2008).

These papers have been referenced by many headphone-info websites, such as Headwize or Stereophile. Indeed, they are very educational. It'd be great if someone can spare me a corner.

though I'm quasi-local, guess I'll only bring the recabled DT880s with me, perhaps a Pico as well... unless nobody brings a Lunchbox Pro?

melomaniac, do you want space at a table?

The main post is updated to reflect all recent table requests.

Keep 'em coming, guys.

Guess I should sign up for a table space too huh...

I'd prefer to be in Catalina B. Maybe Luis and I can share a table.

Hey Iron Dreamer,

I sent you a message a while back about table space. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I'll take Table 8 in Catalina B. I need it to be close to an outlet in the wall please. I will be showing people that power cords do make a difference and I would like to have a dedicated outlet and/or circuit if possible. I am going to try to borrow a Power Plant Premier from Lee @ Cryoparts. Because of the size and space required for my equipment and computer, I will need a whole table. Thank you. I have registered for 2 people, myself & girlfriend, so will need 2 chairs as well.

Let me see what I can do. My personal units are all spoken for, let me see if I can dig up another for you.

Peace,

I'll take whatever is conveniant. If possible, I'd like one full table in a corner or against the wall (lots of umbilical cords). I'm not sure I belong in the "high end" room. I'll be bringing an untested Stax amp with a pair of SR-303.
