When I picture a whole bunch of audio junkies in a room with all the great equipment that's going to be at CanJam, I picture ravenous carnivores.
But this is Los Angeles and we have more restaurants than you'd know what to do with. I'm sure you will find something.

What's closest to the airport, since cab fare will most likely be involved?

Better yet maybe one that delivers? Do you prefer one that is strictly vegan? (no dairy, egg, etc.)

Hmm. All of those that David recommended are in Culver City, which is not exactly next door to the Hilton, but fairly close. Repeated Cab fare could be a killer. Maybe a Vegan/vegetarian poll could be started to get a group interest, and a coordinated food run could be organized?
I'm sure there are closer restaurants, but they may not be as tasty.

I don't know if anyone else is interested, but being form the east coast, I'm definitely planning on hitting up the In-n-Out during my stay.

OK, this was the closest decent Vegetarian Restaurant nearby. About 2.7miles from the Hotel. So, short drive, but not exactly walking distance.
Veggie Grill
S Allied Way
El Segundo, CA 90245

Not sure if they are Vegan or Kosher etc. Anyone interested should call and find out. Not sure if they deliver, but they are in a pretty convenient shopping area, so I would advice organizing a Veggie Food run group and bringing it back perhaps, or just eating there.
I'm going to put this restaurant as one of the recommended "SLOW FOOD" place of interest to eat on the CanJam Brochure.

it would have to be samosa house. tender greens isn't strictly vegan or even vegetarian, but their happy vegan salad is the bomb!

LOL, I guess I should be more familiar as I once worked in El Segundo. But I packed my lunch a lot.
I know of a lot of places to eat within 5-10 miles, mostly in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach.
Of course, travelling that distance covers Culver City if you travel north.

Rocky Horror plays every Saturday at midnight at the Nuart, which is really close to LAX hotels.
