x2. To me, Malnati's the the worst of the big Chicago pizza shops. I've never gotten sick from it but it's a far step below Giordano's at #3. (Uno/Due, Gino's, Giordano's, Malnati, in that order).
Other good places in the 'burbs are the The Silo in Lake Bluff (this is the Pizza I grew up on so it has a warm place in my heart as my favorite) and Nick's in Crystal Lake. I had mentioned in an earlier post that I prefer an Uno's style pizza and, of those, I like The Silo's the most.
So many options, so little time....

It's good that we're planning dinner this early. Trying to get people together for dinner during the meet takes a very long time. It's kind of like herding cats.

Dinner? I was just assuming we were going to have a permanent table that handed out deep dish pizza the whole time.
I do make a vote in traveling up to the north side and getting some Hot Doug's. MMmmmm... duck fat fries.

Rock on Chicago Food-Fi '10! For the dedicated gourmand, I humbly and strongly recommend you peruse this:
LTHForum.com • Index page
for recommendations. It's named for "little" Three Happiness, a long-time Chinatown favorite (this is the small Three Happiness on Cermak, as opposed to the big, "new" Three Happiness on Wentworth).
LTH is a splinter from the Chicago Chowhound boards. It was a bunch of dedicated, long-time forum members who got sick of clueless newbs, fanboys and shills, so they started their own board. It's informative without being snobby, clubby and high-school-cliquish.

x2. I'd really like to go, but if it's late May, it'll interfere with finals. I can't go unless it's June.
