I'd love to take an extra day. Maybe before the meet.

For the record, I'd love for the meet proper to be three days again. Friday, Sat, and Sun. LA was too quick.

I'd also like to see some "Official" partying.
We keep getting thrown out of places.
Be great to have a little background music,
but I don't think we really need a band,
just a system that we can throw some mix discs in.

Guess that's the only suggestion I got as everything else has been outstanding in the past.

Maybe you guys can work bacon into it somewhere along the line ...

Sheesh, it's only been ten days and already I can't wait.

Then maybe you'll have a new high-end rig in time for the meet. Unless you were already on the ramen diet in the name of cans!

Same concept. I'm not a Brit but it sounded good when I heard about them. We've been eating them while watching the early morning broadcasts of the European Formula One races. Tasty, and I even found the Brown Sauce you make them with. We'll definitely whip them up at Canjam!

Warning Bacon education ahead.

This is a Bacon Sandwich - or Sarnie - note the use of bread

This is a Bacon Butty - note the use of a Bap or Bun

Definition of Bacon Sarnie - What is the Meaning of Bacon Sarnie

And is the subject of research

BBC NEWS | UK | England | West Yorkshire | Scientists' 'perfect' bacon butty

The Formula

N = C + {fb(cm) . fb(tc)} + fb(Ts) + fc . ta

N = force in Newtons required to break the cooked bacon.
fb = function of the bacon type.
fc = function of the condiment/filling effect.
Ts = serving temperature.
tc = cooking time.
ta = time or duration of application of condiment/filling.
cm = cooking method.
C = Newtons required to break uncooked bacon.

And has "medicinal" uses
Bacon sandwich really does cure a hangover - Telegraph

Hungry now?

Thank you Grahame! Your people have developed one hell of a sandwich and I shall celebrate Mr. Button's triumphant season (so far) with many of these fine delicacies.

rite now you people dont know what ur missing..

i am scarfing down some Pizza from a local south side family pizza place called "Villa Rosa". the crust is so soft you dont even need teeth to chew it and the sausage melts in your mouth..my family ordered some before i got home, in Chicago this is the normal way one can live.

omg is it good!

i was thinking of taking a ride up to a independent local music store that is somewhat legend around these parts. its called Rolling Stones music...and im sure Ryan can chime in about the store but on my way there i probably will stop at johnnie's beef. the hotdogs and Italian Beef there is so amazing you people out of town could never imagine what this stuff really tastes like..omg and the Italian Ice they have! click the link to make ur mouth drop in tasty dreams of CanJam10!

you know what...

i am going to use this thread to Tease you people about stuff around Chicago till the national meet happens..

All this talk about bacon sandwiches reminds me of one of my favorite websites:
This is why you're fat.
