Tom, I think the date may be pretty close to set around the same time as the LAX CanJam. BTW the fest looks really cool

Just a suggestion on dates. Either that last weekend in May or the first weekend in June. Is that what it's looking to be right now? If it's much before that, we run into finals for a bunch of students, and if it's much after, people have to start working for the summer. Of course, that really only applies to those in school still.

The official announcement should be out very soon, and FYI it will be posted either by myself or morphsci (most likely myself All I can say is that the committee looked at a wide range of dates, voted on the dates that we felt best, ranked them according to what we felt would be the best opportunity for the widest demographic to attend, and sought the best venue that would offer an enriching CanJam experience on the date available marked as our #1 best date. I will add that we are at the finish line in that process, and very soon we will be posting a "Save The Date" for CanJam 2010!!!

Thanks! If all works out with the timing, I will do my best to make it. I know I had a phenomenal time at CanJam '08, couldn't make it to CanJam '09 because of logistics, but I'd certainly like to get to Chicago for CanJam '10!

This is close enough that I'll probably be able to come.

One suggestion, can you get good quality T-shirts made like the ones from Florida. I purchased 2 and they're still in good condition. I purchased one from LA and you can pratically see through it and after one washing I can now wear it as a bra!

I also have had no problems with my LA CanJam shirts. Perhaps you need a new washing machine?
And I agree with Billy about the printing. Everyone who has seen it has commented on the "coolness" of the printing.

It's a thin shirt, but it's supposed to be. And the way it's printed means that you won't lose the printing over time. If you're destroying the shirt, perhaps there's something else going on?

I say: "Put an end to shirt abuse, NOW!"
First it starts with shirts, and then it moves on to pants, and next thing you know, mini-skirts will be outlawed
The actions of a very few, can hurt so many innocent people.
What next? Mob mentality is going to want to "hang" shirts? Let it go people...let it go...
