I think I might be confusing the T-Shirt Payment system with the Head-Fi CanJam registration. We'll double check to make sure. If we have to, we'll double check.

There was no way to add a note to the CanJam registration payment - I had to assume the order # would somehow identify what our user name was since we were logged into head-fi to order the pre-registration. I did change my paypal email to be my head-fi email address.

Those sure look cool, but damn that is a big thing to wear around your neck!
Just kidding, so don't freak out HPA. I don't recall how it worked when I signed up this time, but Jude had a list of all registered members based upon this same system in previous years. No special shenanigans needed. I think it will be pretty clear for the organizers to cross-reference from the Roll Call thread and the registration system.

My 11 year old son just registered as a head-fi user, and I am printing out the parental permission form to sign, scan and email to jude. With his father as HeadphoneAddict, his two choices were:
HeadFanatic or Son Of Addict
He chose #1 and it sounds almost like my ID when pronounced out loud - seemed kinda clever play on words. Once Benjamin is approved I can register him for CanJam online and he'll get a cool name badge....

How long does it take for my son's head-fi account to be approved after I sent in the parental permission form yesterday?
The registration page still doesn't show any option for my son to pay for CanJam registration, it only offers to let him pay for Contributing Member 1-4.

Please use the link provided above to register for CanJam 09 LAX.
This year's event will be really spectacular. We have new headphones from Sennheiser, Grado, Ultrasone and most likely a few more to be named later. We should also see more than a few new amps at this event as well.
Did I mention Steve Hoffman is going to be rocking the Blue Note jazz series and we also have a few other tricks up our sleeves.
The real reason to register and attend though is to meet, greet and party with all the awesome Head-Fiers you have come to know on-line and now can raise a toast to in person.
event tickets are $20 and $15 for students, tickets at the day of the event will be $20 (cash) at the door but pre registered Head-fi members will get a laminated badge that features the CanJam graphic, their username and first name. Please have guests register at headfi first then they can register through the link.
Thanks
JP

Hey guys, I already paid back during February with paypal.
When I get there, how do I prove that I have paid? because I did not get any receipt or anything. I am not sure if I included my user name or not on the paypal notes.

The organizers should have it if you went through the system, but paypal should also have a record in your account.

Okay, I just payed my $20, but didn't leave a note as to my username. I had forgotten about the event, and then remembered today (and oh so glad that it had not passed me by). where do I pick up my badge (at the gate?) First meet for me, so not sure how this all works.
Okay read the above post... sounds like its on file but will print out paypall stuff to be sure.
Great looking art work by the way!
Nice job on the graphic design.
Thanks for the help, I look forward to meeting you all soon.
Cheers,
Greg

I'll be in So-Cal this weekend on a family visit. It seems unlikely, but if I can wrangle a shred of WAF, can I walk up to the reg booth and register/pay onsite ... jussssst in case?
If I don't make it I'll be shlogging thru the blogposts when I can sneak a few glances into my iPhone.
