Yeah $10 is a very reasonable amount to park for as great an event as this is going to be. I wouldn't want to leave my car on the street, when there is secure parking available.

This is going to be my first meet, so wondering what is the appropriate amount of time one can spend listening to someone's gear.

I think people are generally pretty flexible. Just be aware of whether there is anyone else waiting to listen, and be courteous, and everything should be just fine.

It's similar to speed chess. You have exactly 45 seconds to put the headphones on, listen to what you want to listen to, and put the headphones back on the table. And yes, you have to hit the clock box.

$10 is a great deal for that area. The Parking Spot just up the street will run you almost $20.

I think 15 minutes is reasonable.

I think parking is normally 20 or 25 there, that is why for the LA meet i parked on the street, only to find out later that there was validation that brought it down to 10.

Just got back from CanJam today. I thought the event was pretty amazing since I've only been to one other small headfi meet out in the Valley a few years ago. Lots of really amazing sounding gear and friendly and helpful people. Thanks to all the organizers.

I am so happy that I attended Canjam2009. I can't begin to tell you how much fun it was meeting all over you and seeing all the great equipment. The Hotel was great and the event was organized extremely well. Thanks to all involved. Looking forward to our next Canjam 2010. I didn't have my laptop with me at Canjam 2009 so now that I am back in NYC, I will be making my comments. Again thanks to all. Scottsmrnyc
