About a five or ten minute walk assuming you are not bringing much gear.

Darkvoice?
Sorry this is another newbie question.
1. Will there be some non-listed sponsor/vendors there like audiophile china. I'm just recently interested in the darkvoice and wanted a listen.
2. If they are, will I be able to purchase there? Save on shipping.
If not I just hope someone there will have it to listen.

Does anyone know what the daily parking rate is for the Hilton or if there is a convention discount?

the hotel will have a $10 parking validation available, you can purchase this discounted rate from the hotel on Saturday morning from 9-11am near our registration booth.

dammit..I just booked my ticket to Los angeles..looks like I will make it after all..means I will have to spend friday night (getting a ride and catching the flight early next morning) and sunday night (returning late sunday night and catch the amtrak back to portland next morning) in the Seattle Airport..
Guess I am a bit crazy..unfortunate that I booked the tickets only after the online registration closed.

"I think i read special rate for the convention was $10. validation or something."
There is also some limited free "on street" parking behind the hotel on surrounding streets, but you'll generally have to compete with hotel employees for it.

I parked there during the LA meet-be careful, it is two hour parking so you have to move your car every two hour-pain in the neck and it is unsecure. I won't be doing it again.
