I've found bits of info about the meet scattered throughout the blog but is there a page that has all the details like (1) official start and end times for each day, (2) vendors list/conference room, (3) any raffle details and estimated drawing times, (4) any special events scheduled yet? Driving up from San Diego each day so I need to plan ahead.

CanJam 09 Registration is now open
and
Can Jam Raffle Prizes Are Rolling In!
then there is
CanJam 09 Vendor List, The Stars Are Coming Out
and then this
CanJam Tips for Newbies (and regulars for that matter)
I am a firm believer that if you take the time to read, the threads will educate you fully and answer more questions you can ever think of.
Good luck and enjoy.

This comes to mind: The Encounter Restaurant & Bar - fine dining and cocktail lounge @ Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) right in LAX
other than that there's... not too much else unless you grab a cab.

Am I supposed to get a registration verification?
I paid the registration using my wife's paypal account. What happens now?
So does canjam have a record of my registration? Or is the registeration under my wife's name since I used my wife's paypal account?
Do I get an email confirmation or something that shows me that i've registered?
How do I check my registration?
Can anyone help?

The real name we have would be for whomever the PayPal account holder is. Next year, I will change the instructions for registration, to avoid this problem.
I'm not sure what the cut-off is for custom name badges is, but, still, send me your real name (if it differs from your PayPal account holder's name). I can't guarantee we'll make the cut-off on custom name badges, but it's worth a shot. So send me:
- The name of the PayPal account holder (to make it easier to locate the transaction).
- The PayPal e-mail address of the account you used.
- Your real name.
- Your username (on Head-Fi), spelled exactly as it is here, including any spaces, punctuation marks, capitalization, etc.
Please only do this if your real name differs from the PayPal account holder's name. Again, it may be too late to make the custom name badget cut-off--I'm not sure about that at this time.

I saw (and now have) your posted information. I deleted it, however.
Anyone else, please send the information via PM.
Again, I'm not sure if this will be in time for the custom badges, but I hope so.

This link here http://www.head-fi.org/forums/payments.php works just fine so use that one. Ger 'er done!
If Jude is reading this post, the top of page link for registration seems to point to the main meet thread not the registration page.

Ya i registered but couldn't find anywhere to put my user name on that paypal form. I sent off two pms one to Ed and one to Jasper994(Aaron i think?) but never got a response, so I just hope they figure it out and put the name together with my user name from the head-fi records that Jude has or whatever. I have never had such a problem with paypal, don't know what the deal was.

Ed and Aaron are swamped now and for the next 48 hours sorting through the logistics of getting the brochure, banners, placards, vendor and member name badges done. We are having a much greater attendance than originally planned which is a good thing but swamps the limited resources we had scheduled. Both of these guys are very detail oriented and are focused on ensuring as close to perfect execution for all Can Jam items as possible. Believe me, they have thought of everything. If you pmed either of them before Friday evening there is a good chance you are covered. Think inbox with 80+ new messages per day. Just in case, print out a copy of your PayPal receipt and you will be good to go.
Enjoy!

Hi dallan, I have you down (if your real initials are DW). Usernames are registered automatically (through the payment/subscription system here). However, the only real names we capture are the ones that are actually associated with the PayPal accounts.
If we're not past the cutoff for custom name badges, it certainly is nigh.

Yes, did you want two? If so, you should be set. If not, I'll refund you for one of them.
