Finding individual buyers takes a back seat to finding new distributors and having existing ones stock their new gear. So they usually go all out on a couple of big events and forget about the little ones. There's a big burnout factor too.
Since LA is such a hot bed of studios (both audio and film) I'm hoping that I can get a good number of folks to come by and check out the latest and greatest in headphones (you can't believe some of the crap some of the most respected names in the business use,.. of course headphones are secondary to monitors but that still means they're listening to them for hours a day!).
I hope you are successful. The pro audio segment has a lot to offer with well made gear that runs below the usual Head-Fi radar. Take the Apogee Duet and the PreSonus Central station for example................

Great! We will hold you a place in line, a room with a view and warm up a few amps for you to audition.

I typed in headfi under group code to no avail.

What exactly is the code and where do i put it for the group rates? "Head-Fi" is not legit because its a 6 character max.

I just booked my flight to LAX for CanJam - frequent flyer miles are great ! I also used the link to reserve a room for F/S/Su nights and it worked perfectly. Thanks!

Just reserved my flight with a voucher I got a few months ago when I got bumped - thanks, US Airways! I'm still a total noob, even after 100+ posts, but I can't wait to meet some great people and listen to some amazing gear!

Quick tip on the hotel; I upgraded to a tower room for $30 more, and it includes a decent breakfast, which the regular rooms do not. The breakfast near the lobby is apparently not great and expensive. If you ask for the upgrade at check-in, it's usually ~$15.
