Additional Vendors Welcome
As with all meets, whether local or national, vendors play a important part in making the event both enjoyable and educational. We are already contacting all of the Premier and Standard Head-Fi advertisers but there are a lot of gear vendors out there that we need help in contacting.
Ideally, what we would need is not just names and telephone numbers to contact, we have more than enough of those already. What we need is for those of you who have recently purchased gear to contact vendors and ask that they participate in this great and exciting event. The vendor can participate any of these three ways:
-Purchase a room or table to display their products,
-Donate a raffle item(s) and they will receive event recognition,
-Purchase on-site advertising
If the vendor is interested in participating, you can then PM me and I will follow up with details.
Thanks for your help. This event is on track to be huge with something for everyone.

IEM Vendors Needed
Anyone have any good leads for a IEM vendor who might be willing to participate in a CanJam table? I have had a number of people interested in purchasing IEMs but so far no vendors have signed up to participate that I am aware of.

Have you contacted Jason at Sleek? I was just on the phone with him and didn't know to ask. I can call him if you want. Just let me know.

Then I guess you want me to call Jason? FreQ is either out of business or going out of business from what I can tell.

Since you seem to have made some contact already that would be great otherwise I would be happy to contact any of them.
In my opinion we seem to have better leverage with a vendor in getting them to participate if a recent customer asks them to step up rather than have the vendor cold called by a stranger, but that's just my opinion.

I will call Jason Monday. I would be shocked if Sleek was not at CanJam '09. I will send him an email now to let him know the dates.

I Need Vendor Contacts---Please
Does anyone have a good in with any vendor that I can contact to participate in CanJam? I would prefer a good lead not just a Googled name and number.
Thanks for the help.

I spoke to Jason yesterday. He told me that it he plans on being at CJ '09. I told him to contact Jp once the decision is made. He's a good guy and very enthusiastic about his product so I would bet on them being there. It took a while for them to commit and pay me as I recall, last year.

Yes, but I've never done business with them.
However, I'd love to see Manley Labs attend. Manley builds a 300B based preamp that is also a headphone amp. It gets zero mention here, so it might be a good way for Manley to say hi to this market. For one, I'd love to hear it. Manley also builds the Steelhead phono stage - something that should interest the multiplying vinylheads here.
Manley is located in Chino, so it'd only be a 50-60 minute drive in for them. I think it'd be worth asking them.

I spoke to Manley last year for CJ. They couldn't make it because it was so close to the AudioKarma Fest in Michigan. This year they are a few weeks apart I believe. Maybe being so close they will be able to make it. It's worth a shot.
