Default Ultrasone E9 warranty

Hi:

If I make my purchase of E9 in US, and I am residing in Singapore, will the Singapore local authorised distributor by Ultrasone assists in the warranty if there's any warranty issues?

Why buy in the US and not locally? Buy local and you will get all the service you need. Its simple.

I think the reason is simple, the SG local dealers are pushing their price too high, making ppl opt for oversea options...

Btw, I want to ask if I send my ED9 to some 3rd party workshop for recabling, say into balanced config. Will it partially void my warranty or completely void everything?

I would like to know the answer to this as well, although I'm fairly sure I know what it'll be

Yeah, I have a feeling that, even though The Edition 9's success has been very dependent on head-fi (the fact that they shelled out the money to be a premier sponsor here tells you how much of their business is related to this place), and that it is very common for Ed 9 owners now to be getting recable jobs from some of the premier as well as member of the trade sponsors here at head-fi, they will still penny pinch on us \=

Would love to hear otherwise

If you purchase any headphones in North or South America, then the Singapore distributor is not making any revenue on the sale and therefore is not required to provide any free support for warranty purposes. If you require any warranty work, you may be charged for it.

If you require to have any warranty work done to a headphone that was purchased here, then you will be responsible for all shipping and customs fees.

The Edition 9 headphone is well built, by hand. There have been very few issues with it regarding warranty or repair. Will the shipping cost of a repair or warranty issue not put the cost over the retail cost in Singapore?
