HFI 580/780 + Nuforce mobile?

Hi,

I need help deciding on whether or not to get the 580 vs the 780. I would be purchasing 1 of those from Amazon and they are roughly the same price (189/199 US respectively from Amazon).

I primarily listen to alternative rock and pop punk off my ipod. I listen to some trance and rarely listen to anything that's instrumental without drums.

I've tried both at my local store, but I'm afraid they werent broken in yet. I love the 580s in the fact that they are bassy. However I also love the 780s in that the highs were more pronounced. The one caveat I experienced was that I had to turn the volume higher on the 780 than the 580 to experience the same volume amplitude.

Anyhow, if anyone could please chime in based on my music preferences, that would be very much appreciated! Both sound good to me, and I just wish there was a good compromise between the two
