I saw on Ultrasone's web site that the HFI-2400 is due out next month to succeed the HFI-2200. Could someone from Ultrasone shed some light on the new model? Thanks!
You mean like the rectangular shape rather than circular shape? Would be cool to see a cheaper headphone with the same form-factor as the Edition 8 but I personally think it'll follow in the footsteps of the HFI-2000 and HFI-2200, open design and circular cups.

I hope they announce the details soon as I was close to putting in an order on the hfi-2200s, but now am going to wait to see if the 2400s are worth what ever extra they will cost...

Maybe its just a 2200 with a new color scheme to appeal to a wider audience? The press release didn't make any mention of improvements over the old model.
