Asked me to hold a pair of headphones on tuesday till Friday (payday.) I said no problem.

Then I got this email:

Sorry to flake on you, but I've decided to buy another pair elsewhere

I'm sorry. Truthfully, I didn't feel comfortable buying from you. I realize I shouldn't have said I would if I didn't feel comfortable, but I thought more about it at work that night, and I just didn't feel comfortable going through with it.

You're probably a really nice person, and it was just me, but I've gone against my gut before and been screwed. Like I said, I'm sure it was just me, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
You didn't lose anything, the whole process took two days, and you obviously
had another buyer. But again, I apologize.

I have 100% feedback on ebay as 7csofWry, and have had good transactions on music boards, for example the Nine Inch Nails board Echoing the Sound.
This type of situation is NOT the norm for me.
I did end up buying the headphones from someone else, and paid him promptly.

Also, I didn't PM you Tuesday, it was Wednesday around 5 pm, and I emailed you letting you know I wouldn't be buying them when I got home from work Friday morning around 2 am. So, it was not 3 days, it was less than 2 days.

I also bought a LOD from Petyot here, he held the LOD for me for a couple days, and then I paid him when I got the money.
I'm just trying to defend myself here and prove that I usually don't back out of a transaction.

I believe I was the one paid for the item and it was a quick, friendly, and painless transaction. I would have no problem selling to venus again.

Don't you think "avoid like the plague" is a little harsh?
