Bought Panasonic SX500 from Purk. Very good packaging and the unit is in mint condition. He even threw a European adapter to go with the player. (To bad it's UK one, and not mainland)
ANyway, thanks Purk!
Purk & myself have established a good friendship through this forum as a result for a passion of all things PCDP...
I'd just like to extend a warm thanks to him for sending me a birthday present of a pair of OPA627 op-amps on a browndog adapter... you already know from all the other feedback in this thread that Purk is a great person to deal with... and i'm just adding to that!
Deal with Purk with complete confidence... a great guy, and an even better friend
Thanks Purk

Purk is basically a good man. Bought a META protable from him, unfortunately the IC (it turns out) came thru the mail helter skelter rattling in its box. After communicating with Purk, I opened it up, and inserted the IC back into its socket. But it was damaged/defective. Seems Purk had been tryiing different opamps in the META, and the chip may not have been seated properly before shipping.
Again communicated with Purk. In the meantime, Purk had sprained his ankle. A week or two later, I recieved another opamp chip in the mail. Not what I expected, but it does work.
If there is to be a moral to the story, I would say ship it "Priority Mail" instead of snailmail, it get better treatment every time, and gets to its destination faster.
