Valdimir is a friendly guy to deal with, bought a pair of Westone 3 off him, met him in person since we are local.
Tested them out, liked the sound signature and made the transaction.

Traded my HD-25 for his HD 380. Headphones are in immaculate condition. I would definitely recommend dealing with the Pianist.

I met Vlad to buy his Sennheiser HD 25-1-II from him locally. Good communication and friendly Head-Fier to deal with. Met the same day promptly. Talked about cans, IEMs, sources and amps for an hour or so. He even brought his Sennheiser HD555s and Maestro GMP 8.35 Ds for me to try out. He's an honest guy and knocked off shipping/paypal charges for me.
He offered to let me demo the cans he gets in the future too. I would definitely recommend him without a doubt to any future sellers or buyers.

I bought a set of German Maestro GMP 8.35D cans from Pianist (love'em, so very smooth!). He was very responsive before purchase and answered any questions I had.
He didn't give me an option for shipping, but that wasn't a problem as he picked the best option available. Sending it express, insured, with a tracking #. I had previously offered to pay for the insurance myself after he mailed it and knew the actual cost of the insurance. But he never asked for any extra payment.
The cans arrived in excellent condition with the original box and receipt. He even included the 1/8 to 1/4 screw on adapter.
The only negative of the transaction was communication post-purchase. After I sent the money I didn't hear from him for a couple of days. Of course the worst time not to hear from someone is after you have sent them money. This was also my first time ever buying something used online, so I was especially nervous anyway. Later on he got back to me and explained that he had been very busy, which I believe because had had been so good before, but that's just what I felt on my end. After 2 days he did email me telling me that he sent the phones and included the tracking #.
However the overall transaction with Pianist was very positive. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a seller to anyone else.
Thanks Pianist, really enjoying the phones!

I was going to buy a pair of Shure SRH840s from Vladimir yesterday, but the sale didn't go as expected. As we had decided, I traveled about an hour to go meet him at a library near his place. I ended up waiting there for 45 minutes. He never showed up. I had previously given him my cell number so that he could contact me should any problems arise, but I didn't get a phone call. Unfortunately, he didn't let me know his number in case I needed to contact him.
Today I received a call from Vlad saying that he was sorry for not showing up, but he had some sort of emergency. He also said he was no longer interested in selling his Shure's.
I'm not very impressed. I would have appreciated some sort of phone call, or any sort of message, to let me know that:
a) he couldn't make the meeting
b) he didn't want to sell his cans anymore.
He told me that if he decides to sell them in the future to get in contact with him and that we can do business.
Overall, I think I would give Vlad the benefit of the doubt and attempt another transaction. He did sound genuinely sorry that he left me waiting, and his seller feedback is generally positive, so this does seem like an anomaly.
