Default Maniac

While David (Maniac) waits on his pending merchant status, I figured I would take a moment to acknowledge him as an excellent private seller who I would highly recommend to any of you who may be considering purchasing one of the KECES dac's.

I ordered my Keces 131 (w/ the LME opamp upgrade) from David directly on May 19, and I'm pleased to report a very pleasant and smooth transaction. David responded to each of my personal messages quickly and courteously. Shipping was fast, and the USPS tracking number David provided allowed me to follow the item from Taiwan --> US customs (2 day wait) --> Southern CA, where it arrived on the sixth day.

I will also note that I'm really enjoying the 131 thus far. It's very smooth and musical, with good extension, nice separation, and a very solid and controlled bottom end -- a huge improvement over the DAC on the X-fi.

Thanks again David!

I bought a Keces DA-131 w/ op-amp upgrade from Maniac, and every part of the transaction was top notch. Communication, payment, and shipping were all second to none. My DAC was shipped the day after I ordered it, and much to my delight, 3 days later the unit was at my doorstep in Illinois all the way from Taiwan. The unit was packaged VERY well, and he included the original op-amps.

The Keces 131 itself is gorgeous in person, it's one solid unit. It sounds very smooth and detailed, great channel separation, a stellar DAC. Quite a lot of time and attention went into this unit.

Do not hesitate to do business with Maniac, one of the very best sellers!

Default Long feedback approaching...

I first met Maniac when I was interested in a KECES-151 DAC. We PM'd each other and he helped me save money on buying it straight from him, as opposed to if I had bought it off eBay instead. Cut out the middle man, you could say. The DAC arrived within 3-4 days, and I was already planning my next move: IeGO power cords.

I ordered the one that's silver-plated, and three days later, the box arrived. But...it was the wrong one; it was the rosy copper one instead. I PM'd Maniac about this problem, and he quickly said that indeed, he checked stock, and they had sent me out the wrong one. He told me I could keep the rosy copper one, while he sent out the real cable I'd ordered.

He said around Tuesday I could start tracking it with the tracking number. Ha, on Tuesday was when I got it!

So thank you Mr. Maniac for all you've done, and I would recommend anybody to buy or sell from or to Maniac; he'll be sure to make your day!

Bought the Keces DA-151 MKII from David. Pre-ordered it and it arrived just a couple weeks later. I was very happy about the speed of shipping, the cost of the unit, communication with David was great, and the DAC is FANTASTIC. No worries buying from here.
