Out of the blue I got a pm from Bruce about my Cayin HA-1 that had been sitting in a box for a couple of months. I like to ping between amps and at the time was alternating between my Woo 3 and SR-71. He asked if I would be willing to sell it... and since it was sitting in the Audio Booth at work in the box I figured "Why not... I would rather see someone get some enjoyment out of it than have it sit there doing nothing." I pulled it out, made sure everything worked and went ahead with the transactions. I also sent pics of it powered up to show I actually did indeed have it and it was in tip top shape.
Unfortunately when it arrived it arrived DOA!
I had packed it really well and Bruce said the box was in good condition. Bruce decided he wanted to see if it could be fixed and fortunately it just ended up being a loose wire that had come off of the back of the transformer. Once resoldered it has worked like a champ.
Needless to say I was extremely displeased that something had happened in shipment and wanted to make sure the buyer was happy and completely comfortable with the deal. Bruce was completely understanding and great to work with. His payment arrived super-fast, and after the difficulty with the wire he was cool and communicative and was very understanding. He was great to deal with in a unusal situation and a great buyer. Would definitely deal with him again.
