Why do Grado insist on this? Also, why do they not allow for competitive pricing? Although they are available in the UK, they are expensive in comparison to US prices and there is hardly any variation from the prices that Grado stipulate so if you want a Grado headphone, the nearest shop with them in stock will suffice. At least you can hear them there as well.

Many oems require that web advertised products only state the MSRP. However, spend 20 minutes talking shop with the reseller on the phone or in person and you'll find what you pay might not be MSRP after all.

I couldn't imagine a Grado IEM. Just doesn't seem their style. We'll see though.
