That's a sweet system, I like the combo of McIntosh and Accuphase equipment - especially since Accuphase has been called the Japanese McIntosh.

Well the Parasound D/A-1600 is better than most DACs and the B22 is the top solid-state amp of the moment, that's gotta be a killer combo that hangs with the high-end rigs around here!

Rob N, that is an enviable setup. Not my cup of tea, but VERY nice nonetheless.

Some real nice systems here, I love seeing em'

Still waiting on Elephas... erhmm...
I actually have never seen his full system in a single picture in any thread yet. He separates his gear to different pictures because there's too many "mirrored" headphones

To tell you the truth, what gives it the ultra head-fi look are those "tubed" sock feet at the bottom of the pic.

Thanks - silly me, how could I have missed that . . . and here I thought you were taking the pairing with your AirTight 300B a bit too literally !

Good catch - me thinks those are probably vintage tele-ft-kens from the 60s or 70's. I know, I know - bad joke , but just could not resist . . . so, without further adieu, I shall collect me coat .

Cheers,
Garry

A friend wanted to compare my 808i.2 with his G08 so I took Friday off and went over to visit bringing along the 808i.2. The G08 is on the second shelf from the top and the 808i.2 is on the bottom shelf.

We had a great time and I think he may be upgrading. Here is a picture of his system. I really liked the Meadowlark Blue Heron2 speakers. They went well with his Cary amplifiers.

Here are a couple of more pictures, which show the electronics a little better. By the way, the vinyl setup is to die for. While we didn't have the same albums on CD and Vinyl, the vinyl just sounds soooooo wonderful in this setup.

That's Ray's livingroom. When did he put aside his homemade speakers and get the Meadowlarks ?

Why was I not informed?
