LOL, my system is all on top of a desk. Keeping wires from prying little hands. My little one already nearly pulled my K1000's off of the desk by the wire. I caught her just in time, nearly had a heart attack. I take no chances with my R10's.
High end audio is not very toddler friendly.

Really nice looking rig you got there 'Yikes'!
Looks like you have a quite large living room as well.. Need something as big to fill it I guess.

Thanks, Many large speakers end up being mismatched to their rooms. Usher makes the BE-10 for Mid-Sized rooms. I laugh my ass off when I read reviews of very large speakers, some very famous reviewers shoehorn these large systems into rooms that are so small they are totally unsuitable for such speakers. The reviewers ego has them demanding the Top model, even though it's the wrong system for their space.
A large room allows bigger speaker systems the room to breathe. Of course large rooms come with thier own set of problems.

I use a Kiev straitjacket www.laboratorium-kiev.de - KIEV - Straitjacket Modell 1 SJ-M001 for my little one, the only downside is that it only gives me about ten minutes freetime before he busts loose.

Working on magic
Actually the transport is on my desk not pictured. I need to reorganize the entire thing when my rack comes in.
I'm enjoying the DAC, I got to truly hear it earlier this year in a high end speaker system and my friend and I both preferred it to his Naim CD555. I think I'm a convert to the discrete output stage cult now

Here's a pict of my system at the moment.
Giving the SET/High efficiency thing a try and really liking it
Wife got to pick the color for the speakers (that really helps get new speakers in the house, hint, hint).
Headphone stuff is on top left of the rack.
Missing from the picture is the Linn LP12 which is shipping this week
Gear list in the sig.

There actually are two systems shown. The little Legacy Studios are powered by the AES Superamp Signature through the RSA Stealth with the source the RCA outs from the Meridian.
The main system is the Meridian directly to the DSP5200.
For headphone listening, the Meridians balanced outs go into the RSA Apache.

Ethan,
It is indeed an Acoustic Signature Final Tool with a JMW 9 Memorial tonearm with a Lyra Helikon cart.
This picture is pre-Woo Audio GES.
I currently have the GES being fed by the Meridian G08 using the magnificent Siltech Gold FTM-4 G3 IC's and the Final Tool running into a Raptor with Cardas Golden Reference IC's.
As far as dust is concerned...I live in NYC and have to dust twice a week and so far have never had to cover up my stats (I guess I'll have to learn the hard way).

Where are your Blue cables hiding?

Aaron, Any upgrades inside your GES? Mine has everything that Jack recommended and I also had him use Siltech G6 Silver-Gold for all of the point to point wiring.
I'll bring my GES to the next NY meet. It would be cool to have two side by side with the only difference being the internal wiring, oh... and on mine I omitted the HE90 connector in favor of a EH-1.2B socket. Since I'll never buy a used headphone that sells for what the HE90's usually command I figured having a Stax plug and the EH-1.2B would be sufficient.
