When did the Head-Fi forum start ????

im interested to know when it all started

If I remember correctly, around June 20th or so....2001. We are almost a year old.

i remember it like yesterday .... [actually i joined on day 2 or 3, not day 1].

seriously, maybe it is a professional hazard, but it was very interesting to see the emergence of a new forum, the early debates about its nature, purpose, style, relationship to headwize etc. etc. some sociologist or organization theorist is going to have a field day with the archives some day.

It started about a year ago when headwize was down because of bandwidth problems,a nd jude purchased the program with his own money and provide us with this wonder site. Since then most of us have moved from headwize and stayed in here.

we sure do have the biggest collection of knowledge and equipement on the planet , for any one group IMO.

that brings the next question I will start a new thread on the Headroom story which should be interesting as they are integrated with this forum IMO
