What headfi member seems mysterious to you and why?
I've been something of a lurker on these great forums for about a year. I guess I would post more if I had experience with a wider variety of gear...anyway...
After having read countless posts by frequently contributing members, I can't help but wonder about some of the more interesting-sounding people around here. Among them:
I truly hope this doesn't offend him, as I'm acting out of pure curiosity (and procrastination), but I find the Supremus Welly Wu quite interesting/mysterious. He's always extremely thorough and official-sounding in his posts, and frequently drops information on his other unusual hobbies/passtimes. Also, I think I recall him saying he'd never come to a Headfi meeting... I hope to go to my first in NYC this fall.
If this thread is too stupid, please ignore it. If it directs unwelcomed attention to any headfi members, please close the thread.
This being an internet forum and everything, I imagine others are curious about folks they see and chat with here...anybody?
I'll shut up now...

I am fascinated with the gentleman that looks like Jesus and has the light saber headphones. I am not sure if he is the same as the fellow with the animated avatar of the ray gun guy in covert box, but they both are very cool!

I would be fascinated with him as well, If it weren't for the fact that I'm Jewish.

Scrypt is always an interesting person.
Not sure many people can talk like him.
He threw away his iPod after realizing what he was doing with it. ^.-?

Interesting post Dimitri. It's ironic that you should mention Welly Wu, because I only recall one time that he ever posted in a thread that I started or participated in and that was to flame me (although probably deservedly so, I was having a bad day). "Mysterious" indeed that are paths rarely (if ever) cross especially considering that we both been here for awhile now, and have well over 3000+ posts between us?

Head-Fi members are an eccentric lot. (myself included)
I'd have to say that the 'most mysterious' vote is tied between the no-longer active members Vka and Apheared. The former, because he managed to act as a one-man HP-1000 dealer in addition to having what is probably the most expensive headphone system known to man (before headphones took off and Nik cam into the picture), yet barely revealed anything about his background. The latter, because his hypercaffeinated DIY spirit flamed brightly for a long period in the "early days," with a brightness only comparable to the suddenness of his mysterious disappearance from Head-Fi.

Scrypt, for one, if only that he's a nutter. The whole Gender Confusion on iPods thing...
wallijonn also, mainly because he's in so many topics. Most people usually frequent a few forums; myself, I post mostly in Portable Audio, Computers-As-Source, and Member's Lounge. Others seem to have infinite knowledge and post about everything. wallijonn is one of these. Yet his posts always seem to have something useful to say, even with the great range.
Seems there's a general consensus here...

Regardless of gender, assuming your profile is accurate we share birthdays.
