Yea my gf recently asked me what I was getting her for Valentines.  She's always asking what I've gotten her for Christmas or her birthday and stuff... I told her chocolates and a teddy bear as a semi-joke, but she just looked at me as if to plead that I wouldn't do something so cliche. I'll take her to a restaurant or something (a nice place, though, like Maggiano's or Stony River Steak House) but past dinner I got nothin'... I thought for maybe a nano second a pair of headphones, but seeing as the TD/80's I gave her a while ago just seem to be collecting dust, I'm in dire need of a Plan B exploiting some definite brain power, possibly with ice skating rinks and/or serenade implementation.

As for me, my gf and I agree Valentine's Day is not much more than an overblown day of hyped "love" for many people. Dunno what we're gonna do together though, if anything. Homework will probably drown us anyway (it's on a weekday this year, right?).

Heeeey, don't be a cupid Scrooge.. Even if it is, it doesn't mean you can't celebrate and enjoy it.. 
Me and my girlfriend have been seeing each other for a quite a while now, and I think I'm going to drop the "L" bomb, as that's a barrier that has yet to be crossed. Some of you may scoff, but that's one word I take very, very seriously, and I only use it if I intend to use it for life. So maybe things will turn out well..
