Default Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice. HoT!!

*Edit* To include Mazda Miata pics

These 2 cars are built in the same plant and both cost under $30K. I don't see many of them on the road, but I saw both recently, and they're both very Hot! I know they are not really all that great cars in terms of sports-car abilities, but I can actually afford one of these.. Anyone driven one?

*Edit* to include Miata pics.

Wow, I like the grill of the Saturn better.

No but I sat in one (Saturn), and I'm ready to trade my Vue in for one! Too bad I couldn't fit any of my tools in the thing. I like both designs too BTW.

In a perfect world I'd say the Pontiac Solstice has the better looking grille. But in the real world you need a license plate. The Saturn Sky has a horizontal band of paint which the plate sits nicely on, the Pontiacs beautiful grille is just ruined

I'm sure both are fine cars, but with my own money I'd sooner buy the proven Mazda MX-5 (Miata). If I had even more money the Porsche Boxster makes me forget about any other droptop on the road (Even the pricier 911 Carrera Cabriolet)

If you do want to buy the GM roadster you're more likely to find the Pontiac sitting on the lot, while the Saturn has a waiting list (Which is odd because they are mechanically identical).

The Sky is much nicer looking, in my opinion. But the Mazda Miata would be my first choice, for that newly-introduced hardtop and the inevitable Mazdaspeed version.

I like their styling, but since dealers price gouge so much they're not remotely worth considering given the competition at the higher price point.

Jon, if you can find a brand new one in a dealer lot for under $30K, you will be a very lucky man.

It fits the "Pontiac" grill graphic look. And it is very cleanly done, the Saturn looks boring, and too much like so many cars before it.

Unfortunately, the Solstice grill is ruined by front license plates, so they didn't take that one into consideration.
