Sorry for the thread resurrection, and sorry for the double post too. But I thought people might want to know what I did in the end.
I finished reading 1984 yesterday and I thought it was doubleplusgood.
Everything about it was cool. The philosophy and stuff that was intertwined in there (I especially like the idea of nothing existing outside the mind...) made it all the better, and the newspeak language is very interesting. Very good book.
I also placed a hold on Cat's Cradle at the library since it looks interesting and I like the cover

How's your Literature Journey?
I was hoping to see how things went,what agreat thread so far
Good to see you liked 1984 Frasey, that opens the doors to the whole dystopic genre
Anyone Picked up anything new?
I'm yet to finish reading StarMaker and i got another recommendation today:
Ursula le Guin and especially "The Dispossessed"
And the book the film STALKER is based on, "Roadside Picnic"
So much on the list..
