The last movie at the theater I saw was I am Legend. The first 3/4 of the movie was pretty good but the last 1/4 was terrible. It went from maybe 8/10 to 5/10.

Disturbia
Rented this one the other night. It was an OK thriller but rather predictable, especially since I've seen Hitchcock's "Rear Window" which must have inspired this one. It does have one of the best, gut wrenching, realistic car crash scenes I've ever seen in a movie. I'd give it 6 or 7 out of 10.

saw this today, too. even after reading many reviews i still enjoyed it a lot. more than ellen page (who is fantastic), though, i was very pleased by how great the rest of the cast is. each was a winner...and even if you know or suspect the ending, it's moving nonetheless...

Caught "Deja Vu" with Denzel Washington yesterday on cable. Kinda had me spellbound for a coupla' hours and the female lead Paula? Patton was one beautiful woman. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars.....

Such a good movie. That director has something else out now as well, can't remember what it's called, but it's supposed to be good as well.

My wife liked this movie, but I just couldn't get into it. I felt like the movie was constantly moving towards something and never arriving. I don't mind open-ended conclusions, but this just seemed to ramble on.

Eastern Promises - 6/10
Overall not bad, but it was a bit flat to me. Story has a few twists, nothing hard to follow, but the entire premise seems implausible. Viggo does a good job, and Naomi Watts was severely underutilized.
Whisper - 5/10
Story generously "borrows" from The Omen and a few other classic horror movies, obviously not done as well as any of them, but interesting nonetheless. Could have been better. Lost fans may want to check it out, as it stars Josh Holloway doing his best Sawyer impersonation
Turistas - 6/10
Can't understand why this one was almost universally blasted. One of the better slasher type films out there. The tone is constantly dark and certain scenes are flat out brutal. On a side note, Olivia Wilde is smoking

Eye Of The Beholder-2 1/2*s. I like Ashley Judd. Additionally, this film makes perfect sense to me. I don't understand why folks don't understand.
