Not a movie, but I just watched the Doctor Who christmas special. 8/10
Very enjoyable, but a tad bleaker than the previous two.

I saw both V for Vendetta and Sin City a few days ago.
V for Vendetta: It's an inspirational movie, not necessarily because of the ideal it portrays, but because it was able to fuse together the radical side of anarchy that it decided to portray and how it can seem repulsive to the average citizen. It also had good action scenes. I think the latter was what made me like it the most.
Sin City: I have not read the comics (nor have I read the book for the above), but it was a very interesting style of film. Not necessarily revolutionary like Pulp Fiction, but I liked the dark, brooding atmosphere it was able to shoot. I also liked the touch of unrealism that is inherent in comic books. Again, another enjoyable film, this one less enjoyable than the former because it seemed more incomplete. However, it was still an interesting concept and I can appreciate that.

My girlfriend and I saw this movie over the weekend and she was crying for 30 minutes after the movie was over. I liked it, even though I played the "it's a chick flick, so you must promise to see Jackass 3 when it comes out" card. I give it an 8/10.

I watched an enjoyable double bill last night.
Exiled (Fong juk) - 8/10: A modern day Western with some beautiful action sequences.
Eastern Promises - 8/10: Most should know about this.
Both were excellent. The later was gorgeous in HD-DVD.

Lust, Caution - 8/10
Not Ang Lee's best but still quite good.

Haven't watched a movie for over a year bit since it is the holiday break, I am working my way through the Harry Potter series of movies... They are pretty enjoyable but as expected don't follow the books entirely.

3:10 t0 Yuma - 7.5/10
Normally don't like westerns, but this one kept me interested. Bale and Crowe do a pretty good job of staring at each other.

Just saw it last night, agreed. Between Juno and Hard Candy, I think we can expect some great things from Ms. Page.
