Are there torrents available for fantastic children? Who subs it?

Escaflowne is an anime fantasy classic. Gotta have it under your belt.
I just watched the first episode of Honey & Clover and it was good and funny. Definately has an absurd touch to it and doesn't take itself to seriously. Feels mature compared to the usual comedy dramas. Thanks for the tip!

Somehow I was not really into Escaflowne although it was pretty good objectively speaking. I just couldn't stand the main character and I'm not too much into fantasy anime.

Fantastic Children is subbed by 'Mahou'. I get most of my stuff from DC++ hubs so I don't really know about torrents.

You're in for a treat. I think Noir is one of the all-time classics. Great characters, convincing settings, excellent plot, fitting visuals and a perfect soundtrack.

Rahxephon was allright but I can't say whether it's better than Evangelion.
Admittingly, it was better executed than Evangelion with a more consistent flow, a better and more convincing plot and less white holes, but the characters in Eva had something special and the somber setting paired with a truly outstanding soundtrack lent the series an air of self-aware greatness. No other anime grabbed my thoughts as much as this one. Also, Rahxephon's mecha designs were pretty bad compared to the EVAs.

My friend introduced me to anime some time ago and I've been hooked after that. I've watched several series from beginning to end and here's some of my favourites.

Bleach: Absolutely the best anime series there is. The beginning isn't so convincing but things just start going on after 20 episodes or something. It's still going on and it really is painful to wait for new episode every week. Manga is also great and it's much ahead of anime.

Berserk: Another very good series. Drawing isn't as good as in Bleach but story, characters and music is something awesome. This series really affected my feelings and had influence on me (maybe only anime which has done this). The ending was slightly disappointing but I really can recommend this series to any anime fan.

Full Metal Alchemist: I started with this one alongside with Neon Genesis Evangelion. FMA hooked me right from the first episodes. It didn't take long for me to watch all the 51 episodes. There's just everything right in FMA. Really lovable characters, great music and nice story.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: This was the first anime series I started to follow intensively. It came from Finnish tv-channel just like six months ago and hooked me right away. Best mecha-anime I've seen so far. In NGE the ending really sucks and I mean it. But I've heard that this was due some budget problems and there's a better ending available on DVD .

Samurai Champloo: If you have any interest in Samurai culture then this is your series. Drawing is fantastic, story is great and characters are funny and personal. At the same time this series tells you a lot about the history of Japan. SC has it bad episodes but there's so much good in it that it can be forgiven. SC also mixes some hip-hop to old samurai culture with a funny way.

Other anime series I've enjoyed or am enjoying: RahXephon, Cowboy Bebop

Some series I should get to know: Full Metal Panic, Elfen Lied, Rurouni Kenshin

Btw. My avatar is from FMA.

Great Teach Onizuka

Anime about deliquent/ gang member becoming a teacher at a private school, and his unique ways of teaching, absolutly halarious sometimes.

Personally the must see are,

Mahoraba
Futakoi Alternative
AIR TV
Gokujo Seitokai
Full Metal Panic 2nd Raid

in that order.

I kinda like Okusama wa Mahou Shoujo, Paniponi Dash! and Kore ga Watashi no Goshujin sama but cant recommend them to everyone.

Maho Shojo Lyrical Nanoha A's seems to get some real good feedback from subtitlers, even among those who arent usually into maho shoujo series. I didnt get to check it out yet except for the first eps tho.

As far as OVAs go
Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan
Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu

Stratos4 advance and Warkyure if you liked the TV series.

AIR the game is very touching,I think if only watch the TV and movie ,you even don't understand what its talking about, what is the mean of "the 1000th summer"cuz the tv is too short. I don't know if the air game have english version but it does have the chinese ver.
I watched the Full Metal Panic 1 and 2 last year, well.I like the 2 best which is more funny,(these type of funny called "kuso" in japanese..) about Full Metal Panic 2nd Raid ..hmm,hope it wouldn't be so short...
I also have read the manga of honey and clover,I prefer the tv cuz it have the beautiful music.
gunxsword is a really cool show, worth to watch
ORIGINAL GENERATION is the ova of superobotwar,so thats a show of fans must watch.
shoolrumble cos fate
