YUIN PK2 .... Earbud KILLER !!!! (mini review)
*remember! my English not good, but I would try *
I received YUIN PK2 from FANG (nankai)
this phone is purchase, not free or borrow
it's look like other cheap earbud in the market
look like $1 earbud, it's come with black color and small wood box
not beautiful, not trust in configuration!
I put it in my ear......suddenly !!!!
wow.....wow.....wow.........and wow
unbelieve !!!! it's sound very good
bass is tight and deep more than other earbud
high is very detail and mid seem to like Grado signature
it's sound is closed up to my Grado HF-1
you would not believe it sound is come from small earbud as PK2
Transparent and 3D is the sell point
more musical, and you can't found from small earphones
compare to my old ATH-CM7ti, PK2 beat and kill it!!!
when I use it with HeedCanamp, soundstage is wider
high is very smooth and bass seem to deeper
sound quality is like from full size cans as Grado
not believe me!!! you can contact to FANG (nankai)
and borrow or loan PK2 to test before start the deal
if you love in portable earphone
but give sound like fullsize phone
and want to carry it to anywhere
and don't like canal phone (IEM)
this is the last choice for you
PS. I can't afford PK1 (higher model) but I would try again in later
I'm during waiting bonus

Thanks for the review. Do the different earpads make an audible difference?

Munkong, can you do a comparative review with this PK and Sony E888LP? I would love to know if you had a chance to try E888LP as well. Thanks!

IMHO, PK2 is more musical than E888
E888 sound signature is similar to ATH-CM7ti
E888 more high and forward in MID, less bass
but Bass in PK2 is punchy, and High not harsh as CM7ti
E-888 is best fo female vocal or percussion
but PK2 is very well with rock, pop
highly recommend

i demo'd the 2 at the ny meet and the pk1's amped are a bit better. i didn't really listen to the pk1's unamped to compaer with the pk2's though since i always listen with an amp.
the bass goes a little deeper on the pk1's and feels a bit more natural. i'm not sure if i'm describing it right, but the pk1's bass to me has more of a rumble, i guess you could say it's fuller.
i feel the pk1's are more accurate. there were some tracks i was listening to where some sounds out of the pk2 sounded unnatural, where as it sounded very natural out of the pk1's.
don't get me wrong, the pk2's sounded good, but the pk1's are even better, though i'm not sure it warrents double the price.

i just got pk2 yesterday, and i must say that these are much better than i'd thought. they're also really comfortable for sleeping i'd say it's kind of warm-sounding, but still accurate. bass is nice and punchy. soundstage is unbelievable for the size and price. foamies with a hole in the middle are best sounding imo.

I'm not trying to be stereotypical or anything but is the build and quality of the earbuds good since it is made in a place like China? I know the drivers, etc could be amazing to your ears but that doesn't mean anything if it breaks easily.
Sorry if I offended anyone but I'm not trying to.

Ha Ha Ha
more and more headphones are made in China
if you don't care about factory location
and all you need is sound quality
this is incredible earbud
and this is the very last answer for you

not all chinese stuff is bad. they can be really good in quality if they want to. in fact (you might know this already), a lot of sony, senn, panasonic etc are manufactured in china.
that said, the pk series are built very sturdy. this is a widely accepted fact on the chinese audiophile forums, and some people have put them up to a lot of abuse. my pk2 came out of the box yesterday and already the cord has straightened out (omx52 cord hasn't entirely straightened out after 2 months). the company also has a life-long guarantee on the cord (1 or 2 year for the drivers).
be sure to post your findings if you do get them. happy listening!

I don't care what people say about these things. I would never buy them.
Koss can make an amazing phone for $13. It looks horrible and cheap but it sounds great. This thing is no different story.
Plus, I can't take a company seriously when they are offering some little trinket (that has nothing to do with audio) to sell you some headphones. I'm talking about that Chinese hanger thing they are referring as a 'free gift'.
