upgrade my headphones... or buy an amp?
sorry i put this in the wrong forum... please disregard and/or delete. thanks!
hey guys and gals! i haven't posted on here for a while and it feels good to be back
anyway, i own the hd555 and i'm very happy with them. i mostly listen to hippity hop, lol, but i occasionally listen to yanni or yoyo ma and i'm running them off of my desktop. recently i caught that itch to upgrade and i was thinking about getting the hd595. do you think i should go that route or should i buy an amp instead? which would provide the most improvement on sound quality? i have no idea when it comes to amps so any (cheap) recommendations would be great!
thanks!

The 595 won't be much of an upgrade. They are the EXACT same headphone. They use the same drivers, except the 555 has black foam on the inner girll. I would suggest getting a good amp. Check out the amp forum for more info.
Also posting this in the IEM forums won't be much help. Try the full size headphone thread.
