Hey Guys,
Jason's brother here... Just to let you all know Jason just had healthy baby boy a few days back. I can promise you he is reading and is grateful for the positive posts and will be back on the boards as soon as he can take a breather.

Wow, nice news. Now we can't possibly return the SA6s. Baby needs a new pair of shoes.

Extended Treble Tips
We are including the ++ tips now on all orders. I will be sending them to my vendors to have them put them in with the orders. Anyone that does not have them will get them at no cost. We have to redesign the package interior now and that is not a cheap thing to do
About losing the tips when you open the case lift out the SA6 holder you will find a spare parts holder inside.
I want to say this community is incredible. I love that everyone gives both honest opinions and real feedback to our company. The changes we make depends on you guys, changing to new bass ports or extended treble tips has a lot to do with your influence.
Thanks!

This is not really anything important, but I was curious... what happened to the black tips?
The SA6 reviewed by CNET had black tips, and I was just curious what happened to those.

They decided that the clear looked better for the final production model.

The clear looks better but it also allows us to put colored filters in them to identify the type of tip it is i.e - , = , + . Because of its small size the symbol on the treble tip is sometimes difficult to read. Also it lets everyone see how much "stuff" builds up in there and they can keep it clean.
The extended treble or ++ as its starting to be called is in black.
I will get some pics up of the little one. I still have to make impressions on him to get him his first pair of custom sleeks.... we have to train that ear early.

I have modded a lot of my iems: er4p, e2c, sf5p, er6, er6i, sf3, ex90, im716, etc etc to make them sound the way I want them to sound. Most of those mods are secret. I am a headphone hacker in a way. I think this is an interesting concept. I would like to try this! Now, will the price ever drop?

Just got them in this evening, have them on as I type (listening to Rage ). These little suckers are excellent, and I've only played with the Bass + ports so far.
I returned the Klipsch Custom3 two days ago to make way for these, and I'm glad I did. The SA6 is clearer, more detailed, and the bass+ port is kicking out some terrific bass. The neutral treble port is pretty detailed, but will have to play with + port and see what it can do. So tiny also, and very comfortable.
I concur with the opinion of those that believe the SA6 is competing on the top shelf of universal IEMS (SE530, TripleFi10, etc.).
Do current owners have to do anything in order to get the free treble ++ ports (email or call)?
Jason, congrats on the new baby!

This is interesting, I'm just wondering if anyone that has the SA6 has thoughts on how they sound in comparison to the UM2? I really like the smaller size of the SA6 but I love the sound signature of the UM's. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Hey, congrats! They are little gems aren't they? The treble + tip makes a big difference. Instant synergy with the bass + port. Try it, you'll like it. If you want the treble ++ tips, just PM Jason here on Head-Fi. He's instant on the replies.

Just PM Jason and he'll make sure you get the new treble tubes, just in case. Wow, that's pretty strong stuff. I'm pumped to get mine tomorrow. Is this race finally over? Nah. But sooner or late, I have to take a rest. Hope it's sooner.
Again, wow on that mini-review. Sent back the Custom 3s to get these? That is making me feel very positive. If they turn out to be as it looks, we should make sure CNET readers hear about it. That's a pretty major site, and as it stands, the SA6s aren't getting a fair shake. But there is time for that, for now, I am looking forward to getting my pair.
