As she told me. she does singers with wide open mouths. (um, i'm still working this out with my perverted imagination)
My fit is exceptional. Wish I would have gotten my livewires a long time ago. I also wish I got their better customer service, I really haven't been impressed with their service at all. To me, its been like dealing with a big business, not a small, service orientated boutique.

hey Kosmic, since you're the resident livewire go2guy, any decent tip on removal? i tried your "push at the back of ear" method without much success. ended up picking at the face plate and rocking the whole thing out - definetly not the best approach plus the canal tip kinda lodges in the ear and hurts abit on the way out. this is about the only issue with these beauts. otherwise its 2thumbs up all the way.

The thumb under the earflap method takes some time to get right, but when you've got the knack, it's the easiest way for removal. I can take both earpieces out in one second, or just break the seal to listen to someone speak.
You need to locate the bottom edge of the earpiece from under the earflap with the edge of your thumb. You are trying to scoop the earpiece out from that position.
If you can't get the hang of it try Rav's method.
If you use too much force trying to get them in and out, you will have sore ears for a few days.

I've actually switched to your method, but as you say, you need to find the right spot. With my ears, it's right at the very bottom, not at the back. Probablt depends on the shape of your ear canal.

Is anyone else dissatisfied with the isolation? My seal is fine, but I seem to be hearing a lot more outside noises than I did with my Shure E4C's, that is to say the Shures isolated more...
Anyone else notice that?

Can't compare them to the shures, but i'd say they isolate more than the super-fi 3s i had before.

I leave my cables attached. When I'm packing them, I lay the earpieces across my fingers and start to roll the cable around three of them.

No problems with isolation of second set. First set seal was 'weak' and easilly broken - it's isolation was not as good as the reworked set (first set not as good as UM2s with Shure triflange (modified to biflange) tips but second set equals them)

Attached. Hold Livewires in palm, three loops of cable so plug ends up alongside Livewires. Gently place Livewires and plug into bottom of Livewires case, with loops of cable filling the case. Case has room for some alchoholic wipes - to clean Livewires when putting away - and a mini-2-mini IC.

Hmmm...My seal is pretty easily broken, eg. smiling moves it. But, I can talk with them fine. They make amazing gaming headphones...I'm starting to think that headphones don't have a major place in gaming at all. My placement has been great in the FPS's I've played. (TF2, CSS, BF2, etc.)
Maybe I should send them back to EarPeace and get them remolded? The seal on my right ear could be better, and as I said before, the isolation is lacking.

I'm not dissatisfied with the isolation, but its different than the e4s. Or e500s or e530s or whatever because of the style of headphone. Apples and Oranges here.
When I was using e4s I was using industrial hearing protection foamies and later switched to the black olives. These are dense foam that completely fill and isolate the ear canal from outside noise. The Industrial ear protection was rated at 32 db of noise reduction. Granted, that was with the full length of plug that I had to cut down to get to fit. I don't think the black olives are that high.
When I talked to earpeace tech, the told me a figure of around 24 or 25 db of noise reduction.
This isn't done by isolation, its actually like the earphone is obscuring the sound. Since sound is air, and with the livewire filling up most of your ear cannal, not as much sound can get down it. But the livewire doesn't actually isolate the space between your ear drum and the output of the headphone like the shure does.

I've noticed that. Outside sounds are much clearer, but they are still very quiet. Using these in the city (NYC) is fine, I just hear my music.

Yeh, i leave mine attached also.
I need to look about a new storage case for mine as i managed to break the hinge on the livewires case. Doh!!
