help me! there is a problem with my x10...
I'm sorry if i disturb you guys here. But I'm very confused right now because of my image x10. starting yesterday . the right part of the earphone make some kind of distortion when playing music, especially in high notes. But actually for a few hours, the distortion gone and suddenly, it comes back again.... IS it only my ears or is it defective???? Any help will be appriciated. thank you

How old are they? If it persists, contact Klipsch (Amy, you out there?) and get an RMA. They have a 1-year warranty. Did you try them with more than one DAP?

Burn them in for at least a few hours. I don't think that will resolve your issue though... personally I would go with tstarn06's advice. Most likely a defective armature or possibly a cable problem? Either way it's not worth it to try fixing it yourself.

I have tried it in my another ipod 4g, ipod shuffle, my laptop, and even my phone, but the sound is still there. Today I went to a local store here in Singapore who sells image to compare mine with the store's demo unit. It does sound very different! the one that the store has sounds so much better, and there is no distortion of sort. and luckily, the store is willing to help me to send my phone back to USA for replacement/repair.
