I am starting to feel like just buying the SuperFreQs instead of waiting another month for the Music Makers...

is there really going to be much of a difference other than detachable cables and a higher price tag?

You guys think the new crossover will make a big difference?

I am not sure about that. I know for sure that they will have the detachable cables.

man those look good, they have definately improved on the outside

care to take any pics with them in your ear?

I take it yours are routed for over the ear(what I am looking for too) and your girl's is normal?

wonder if you can request an extra layer of acrylic over the etched graphics so that they don't smudge.

Yep I agree with you. The outside does look better, but the inside is not as clear as it used to be. I dunno why they changed it, but I like it better this way .

Regarding the extra layer, you can call them and ask. Their customer service is good.

BTW, I will take some more pictures later after I get them fixed.

I did not notice at first, but yes, the inside looks less "clear" than before. I think it still looks great!

For those who got their FreQ, I am wondering how the seal/isolation is. I found that mine does not isolate as much as my IM716 with triple-flange or shure black olives. But they isolate more than Ep630. If I can remember correctly, the isolation is similar to SF5Pro. Do I get a bad fit or is it like that ?

well, them being custom ear molds I'm guessing that if the isolation isn't incredible something must be wrong with the way they came out.
