TRADED! Ultrasone Proline 750 with 5ft Kimber recable
Traded for Grado GS1000!
Hey guys,
As some have noticed, I'm seriously cutting down on my headphone collection (HD600, HD650, K701, Darth Beyer - all gone). Now I'm thinking of cutting the recabled Ultrasone Proline 750. The recable is done using the Kimber Kable TCSS-QD, custom ordered from Kimber. The sound is a lot smoother than stock, more detail, more energy. I thought they were pretty nice stock, they moved up quite a few steps on the the quality ladder with the recable.
Reason for selling (beside blowing too much money recently) is that I like the MarkL Denon D5000 a bit more.
These have recently been selling for $220-$240, but I got a nice deal on them for $200, so that's what I'll use as the base price. The cable is $6.50/ft with a $5 Neutrik NP3X-B connector, it's almost $40 in cable parts. You will also be getting an extra pair of pads (two pairs total).
I'm not making anything on the recable and the price will be ONLY $250 including PayPal and Priority shipping ($7.55 PayPal fee + ~$10 shipping).
awesome price for an awesome pair of headphones. good luck with the sale

Thanks.
I can't believe these are still sitting on my desk! Easily the best Ultrasone headphones except for Edition9, and to me they sound better than any of those over-hyped re-cabled HFI-780 at 2x the cost
